A gorgeous dark brown colt, Woodrunner was born April 6, 2005 sired by Forestry out of the dam Marc’s Lark. Forestry has sired five crops of racing age with earnings in excess of $10 million, 119 winners, including Smokey Glacken, Diplomat Lady, Hollywood Starlet, Forest Danger, Discreet Cat and Forest Grove. Blood lines for Woodrunner trace back to Storm Cat, Shared Interest, Mr. Prospector and Personal Ensign.
Woodrunner is a registered New York Bred. He was purchased at the August 2006 Faston-Tipton Selected Yearlings sale in Saratoga Springs.
