Tiz the Law's impressive victory in the 151st running of the Runhappy Travers Stakes on August 8th at Saratoga Race Course was his third straight Grade 1 victory in 2020. His 5 1/2 length of victory, geared down the final 1/16th of a Mile, was the fourth fastest in Travers history (2:00.95). He clearly demonstrated that his victory in the 1 1/14 Mile race, the same distance as the Kentucky Derby, will make him a worthy favorite in Kentucky.
Tiz received a 109 Beyer speed figure for the Travers, a lifetime high by 9 points.
